Dr. Edda Cagas is an Emergency Medicine Physician with leadership and frontline emergency department experience across major hospitals in the Philippines. She previously served as Head of the Emergency Department at Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, where she led clinical operations, ensured high-quality emergency care, and oversaw departmental administration.

Her professional background includes roles as Emergency Medicine Consultant at Mary Johnston Hospital, Hospitalist at The Medical City, and Emergency Room Officer at Medical Centre Taguig, Mendero Medical Centre, Metro Lipa Medical Centre, and Allegiant Regional Care Hospital. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Cagas earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Dr. Jose P. Rizal School of Medicine, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Velez College. She completed her post-graduate internship at Perpetual Succour Hospital.
